Im back from NY, but going back there in September.
Sleep City records is still active. Actually, more than ever.
There are 2 new releases out:

SC 005 – ERIC AYOTTE – WAVERING CD
Brand new full length from Eric Ayotte. He picked up from where he left at the 7″ and made a whole new magic and beautiful record with his voice and guitar. This is a co-release with Plan-it-X records. Euro kids, get in touch.

SC 006 – ADORNO / ERIC AYOTTE – split 7″
This is a tour record 7″. Adorno and Eric Ayotte will be travelling together this summer around europe (Fluff fest, Czech Rep., Austria, Poland, Germany, Italy, … more dates at www.myspace.com/adornno). This is a split release between Adagio Records from Germany, Browntown from US and us.

Sleep City is not only about records.
It’s Summer again. Holidays are about to kick in and I can’t wait to spend my whole days at the beach drinking caipirinhas. But before that, there are 3 places you will have to be during the next days/weeks:

Group exhibition and party with Jucife, Pedro Lourenço and Ricardo Martins (that were published previously on the summer/YG book) plus António Correia and Bráulio Amado.
Live shows with Asneira (members of linda martini and if lucy fell) and Papaya (members of adorno and lobster).
1st July, Bacalhoeiro, Lisboa. 20:30. Shows start at 22:00

Isaiah (Belgium) + Child Meadow (France) + Objects.
5th July, Lavadouro de Carnide, Lisboa. 20:30. 5€

A story about a kid that had to start drinking coffe in order to survive and do all the works he had to do.

It’s finally out. Toronto’s “Young Governor” is Ben Cook’s (Fucked Up, The Bitters, Marvelous Darlings, No Warning, …) solo/one-man band, garage-punk oriented. This release is not only a 7″ vinyl but also a 104 pages book collecting illustrations, stories and photos from artists all over the world.
